Claims 03:06
Everyone claims they've got something to say You better say it fast don't hesitate Everyone claims they've got something to say You better say love quick before it's too late Practice and dedication you'll complete your goals Practice and dedication you'll compete your goals Don't let anyone control you they're all ghosts Your destiny is yours child hell its not for those Everyone claims they've got something to take After the hard days work And there's no mistake Everyone claims

Moksha 03:55
MOKSHA You’re just a piece of my soul, and I’m not letting go I’m running free, in the in-between; Past those uniforms—the raging storms You’re just a piece of my soul, and I’m not letting go Do it again—Karma Say So—Liberation—Moksha to those Do it again—Karma Say So—Formal Reflection—Those are the rules Do it again—Karma Say So—Liberation—Moksha to those Do it again—Karma Say So—Formal Reflections—While the clouds turn to snow I feel you there just call my name, I pray that you make it through And you tell all of those tales and Ill come right back to you Do it again—Karma Say So—Liberation—Moksha to those Do it again—Karma Say So—Formal Reflection—Those are the rules You’re just a piece of my soul, and I’m not letting go I’m running free—Do it again… Clouds turn to snow, its as the story goes Clouds turn to gold

There’s an old woman who sits by a hearth I asked her to show me what she’s got Sold me wares and she had a deck of cards “Draw your tarot but don’t expect to get too far” Said she can’t predict a future with a past too bleak Only choices we make help us climb the next peak Said the woman sitting by her hearth “Draw a tarot but don’t expect to get too far” Leaving town passing through the next Lost in that desert, surrounded by old friends I’ll take my time the horse he treads in slow The townsfolk cry, “We hate to see you go” Said a woman who once sat by her hearth Bartered and Received my fate a permanent lock I’ll remember this when I’ve run out of luck Still have the wares but was she ever really there? Drew the tarot and I’ve gone too far Drew the tarot and I’ve gone too far

You travel far Don't know where you're going to, What you try to do What you're going through What are you trying to prove Where are you going to What you're going to do It picks you Wound up Going far undying star For twenty light years do you disappear No while the water runs thin Where does it all begin There is no end there is no end Bobby start again Ships with sails ships with sails Lightning bolt, down in Mexico All the pyramids you said collusiums There is no end there is no end Bobby start again Seen it all summer fall Or so I thought so so I sought All the pyramids you said collusiums There is no end there is no end Bobby start again

Supposed To 04:27
I'm sitting here waiting for you What am I supposed to do I'm sitting here waiting for you You haven't got a clue but I'm doing fine without you Sunny skies weathers fine here without you Took a walk down our old street Nothing's where it's supposed to be Even cut down our maple tree When I took a walk down I'm doing fine without you Sunny skies weathers fine here without you

about

The sophomore release by Zac Chap, Formal Reflections sends chills up the spines of the listener as the young artist once again snags his viewer with pure emotion and a powerful soul. Chap captures the essence of positive growth and spins the tales like a roller coaster, hitting the ups and downs, and of course the positivity and negativity of life; with a perfect flare of bass, guitar, and a crisp vocal presence. This time around, Chap is backed by uplifting keys and intense drums sharing the same inflection depending on the mood and moment.

Chap addresses questions and delivers themes of mortality and consciousness, scribing phrases regarding the right thing to say in the right moment, or addressing the lack of communication, Formal Reflections continues where the artist left off in 2018 with his first production, and is definitely a breath of fresh air, and high quality sound after directly listening to his first self-produced work, Wingless.

Chap pays pure homage and gratuity to his heroes and influences such as Fred Neil, Richie Havens, Bob Weir, and Bob Dylan; and is beginning to show prowess in his field as he leaves his mark with this beautifully orchestrated production.
